The City of San Marcos will be presenting a free concert with “Headshine”, an acoustic Cali rock band, at the Wood House Gardens in Woodland Park, 1148 Rock Springs Road on Thursday, August 11 at 6:30PM. Gates open at 6PM.
The four piece band from Huntington Beach belt out a series of classic Jamaican-based jams, as well as a few originals. They describe their music as “acoustic reggae rock with a slight bit of alternative-rock influence, but we’re not doing Nirvana-rock—it’s a flavor of all of that. So it’s kind of like so-cal vibes with some acoustic reggae rock thing going on.”
Come enjoy an evening of music at this beautiful outdoor venue located in the gardens of an old Victorian house. Bring beach chairs or blankets for picnic seating. No glass allowed. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Parking is free.
