Passage Into Fear at San Marcos Historical Society

August 29, 2014 By Karen Friend Smith Leave a Comment

“Passage Into Fear” brings theatrical drama, mystery and local talent to our doorsteps this month. The works of Alfred Hitchcock and Agatha Christie are inspirations for California’s local Writer and Director, Charles Carr. Together with the support of Art Animates Life and the San Marcos Historical Society, he brings us this chilling production.

Passage Into Fear will host four evening performances scheduled for September 12, 13, 19, and 20 at 7PM. Two matinees are planned for September 14 and 21 at 2PM. Each performance will take place in San Marcos’ historical Connors’ Hall located in Heritage Park.

Students from North County elementary, middle and high schools are encouraged to attend performances for free.  After attending a performance, students are encouraged to submit an essay specifying what they learned about World War I from the performance. The winner of the essay contest will be awarded a $500 college scholarship.

For ticket information, call (760) 644-9025 or visit www.smhistory.org.
