Do you want to learn how to visualize and create lovely floral arrangements that you, your family and guests can enjoy? If so, please plan to join SEHWC members at our April 11 meeting when Ann Charoenchon presents her unique floral creations from Fleur d’Elegance and shows us how you too can achieve similar results.
If you would like to attend this or a subsequent meeting, please send an email to email@example.com to receive further information. SEHWC meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of the month, beginning at 7PM. Information on meetings and other club activities are highlighted each month in SHARE and on the San Elijo Women’s Club Website, sehwc.weebly.com
Spring is a time of new beginnings and a great time to get involved as SEHWC makes final preparations for the Women’s Fair and begins planning the fall Hoedown and other activities. In addition, there are many pop-up opportunities for volunteering with SEHWC’s various charities. The San Elijo Women’s Club will soon begin featuring our members on the club’s Website and we would love to spotlight you! Please plan to join us.

Women’s Empowerment Presentation and Bazaar–May 9
Women’s Empowerment (WE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating extreme poverty around the world. WE, a San Diego-based charity, was founded by local women committed to helping women and children escape the cycle of poverty, not only in our community, but throughout the world. Through donations and our Gratitude campaign, SEHWC participates in WE’s mission to reduce poverty by providing micro loans and social support to motivated women who work tirelessly to improve their lives, thereby strengthening their families and communities.
SEHWC members have been gratefully adding donations to their Gratitude Banks, provided by WE during a presentation this past fall. What is a Gratitude Bank? It is a simple can (provided by WE) that changes lives and helps eradicate poverty. The premise is simple. Whenever you feel grateful for the people and blessings in your life—-we encourage you to add a dollar or more to your Gratitude Bank. Banks can be obtained by emailing SEHWC at email@example.com. All proceeds are tax deductible and will be donated to WE at the May 9 SEHWC meeting, thereby helping eliminate poverty among women and children locally and across the globe.
