Alabaster Jar Project

During the SEHWC October meeting, Susan Johnson, Director and Co-founder of the Alabaster Jar Project, shared information this organization whose mission is to restore, rehabilitate and empower women caught in the cycle of human trafficking. They provide two main programs: a Drop-In Resource Center that provides clothing, toiletries, and baby items as well as training for women who are attempting to break free from this cycle; and Grace House which provides stabilization for victims through long-term housing and guides them toward self-sufficiency.

SEHWC members brought numerous donations to the meeting and want to spread the word that there is a great need for donations, volunteers, and jobs for these young women. If you would like to assist, please visit alabasterjarproject.org.
