To all the vendors, volunteers and visitors who came and spent time at our First Annual Women’s Fair on Saturday, May 7 — Thank You! Despite a cloudy start, it turned out to be a glorious day with great shopping, fun music, an active wear fashion show sponsored by Graced by Grit of Solana Beach, mammogram screenings by Life Saving Images, cholesterol/diabetes & blood pressure screenings by the University of San Diego School of Pharmacy, and some great presentations by our knowledgeable participants on everything from photography to nutrition to self-defense! The San Marcos Fire Department was on hand to instruct on life saving techniques for children and hand out some very nifty fire helmets to our younger future firefighters! It is sure to be repeated next year! So watch for updates here in SHARE!
And a big Thank you to our sponsors and vendor participants!!

Social Activity
The San Elijo Women’s Club plans several fun social and cultural activities throughout the year.
In June, SEHWC members are planning an outing to the San Diego Museum of Art to view Brueghel to Canoletto: European Masterpieces from the Grasset Collection. This exhibition is comprised of 40 works never before displayed publicly. Join us and enjoy a lovely day in the Balboa Park El Prado esplanade, followed by a delicious lunch at The Prado.
June 14 Meeting
Sip, Shop & Swap at the SEHWC Fashion Exchange Night!
Wouldn’t you love to trade that lovely scarf your Aunt Bee gave you that you will never ever wear for a necklace you’d love? Well then, don’t miss SEHWC‘s fun Fashion Swap to be held on June 14! Bring that one item you just can’t make work in your accessory closet and trade it for your heart’s desire! It’s a fun night and a great chance to learn about the San Elijo Women’s Club and the great charities we sponsor! We will also be showing you how to do fun “presses” for your summer refreshments! And we will have a delicious blueberry concoction to taste!
See you then!
If you would like to attend this meeting or any club event, please send an email to sehwc.ca@gmail.com to be added to the invitation list and to receive additional information or check out our website at sehwc.weebly.com .
