Friday, April 15, 5 – 8PM AND
Saturday, April 16, 11AM – 5PM

The SEES Country Fair draws more than 8,000 people from San Elijo Hills and surrounding areas. It is an amazing day full of family fun and community pride.

In its 9th year, this year’s Country Fair promises to not only deliver an event packed with fun for all ages, but it is also expanding to include TWO days of fun and exciting carnival rides.

On Friday night, the Fair will open for an evening of carnival rides, live music and more from 5-8PM. From there, the fun continues all day on Saturday from 11AM – 5PM with more than 30 games to choose from, giant inflatables (including Wipeout), hand-led pony rides, live animals, dozens of arts and crafts, and big rides like the Zipper, Crazy Planes, and Umbrella Cars.

Leave room in your days to have a bite to eat from a variety of local food vendors. Hit the main stage for grade-level performances and good old-fashioned games or rock the night away Friday Night with the live band 3rd Project. And, don’t forget to stop by the photo booth to have something to remember the day by … it will be one for the memory books!

Mark off your calendars and make a point of supporting this event. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for SEES and they count on the entire community – parents, grandparents, friends & neighbors – to make it a great success.

How can you help?

Buy your tickets early & show up ready to play! (Ticket info below).

Volunteer to cover a shift at the fair – manning a booth or game. They need a TON of volunteers & it’s a simple way to give back & have some fun. For more information about volunteer opportunities, please contact Hilary Devrome and Jennifer Green at SEES.Volunteers@gmail.com or sign up for volunteer shifts at http://sanelijoelementary.org/site/default.aspx?PageID=3922 (Look for the Country Fair sign-up link. )

Sponsor a booth! Yes, there’s still time to see your family, neighborhood or business name on one of our Country Fair attractions! You can even combine with a friend to sponsor a booth. There are sponsorship opportunities for every budget level (starting at only $75!). Please contact Christina Solomon at sanelijocountryfair@gmail.com or Karen Morton and Monee Gardner at seesptopresident@gmail.com for details on remaining opportunities.

Bake some Goodies. Dust off those family recipes and get ready to bake up a storm for the Country Fair at the Bake Sale/Blue Ribbon Tent. All baked goods, jams, jellies, sauces and homemade candies are welcomed. All items must be shelf stable and not require refrigeration. Please download a flier from the SEES website or contact Juli DeFilippis and Rachelle Nelson at countryfairbakesale@gmail.com.

Of course, that’s just the start. There is something for everyone. Shop the Classroom Baskets (More than 65 fun-filled themed baskets will be up for auction at the Multi-Purpose Room. Buy a spot for Bessie (See front office at SEES for details). Ride the rides. Play all the games. Indulge in the food & goodies.

The SEES Country Fair is a great time to show off our community pride and to ensure the best programming at SEES and a jump start for Double Peak School PTO. So, bring your friends & family. Everyone is welcome.
