Baby Shower at Straight from the Heart

On Tuesday, February 9, the San Elijo Hills Women’s Club (SEHWC) held their annual baby shower at the Straight from the Heart (SFTH) offices in San Marcos, showering the foundation with adorable outfits, cuddly blankets and other baby items that will be provided by SFTH to foster parents for their newest family members. Patty Boles, SFTH founder, presented information on the foundation’s program of support to foster parents and children. Touching stories by foster parents of the joys and challenges of foster parenting were also shared.

Guests were then treated to a tour of the Straight from the Heart thrift shop, including the kid-pack room where foster children can obtain new clothing, toys, and school supplies. SFTH is one of San Elijo Hills Women’s Club’s major charities.
