I am an ACE, TRX and AEA certified personal trainer who has also been a professional athlete, coach, and mentor for most of my life.
I offer one on one and small group training here in my gym in San Elijo Hills. I believe training sessions should be safe, effective and fun.
My clients include athletes looking to improve their strength and conditioning for their sport to senior citizens trying to maintain their health and everyone in between.

We have been training with Jane for a year now - and what a difference it makes to have a 360 trainer. By 360 I mean somebody who takes a hard look at your individual fitness, goals, nutrition, wellness and keeps you guided on a sensible path that fits who you are and what you want to accomplish. From time to time Jane will suggest new cross training or coordinate training sessions with others at your similar level. We highly recommend Jane to anybody who wants a trainer who will customize a professional program for them (and is a lovely person to know).
I have been a client of Train with Jane for about a year. I began going to Jane’s after having my second child. I felt out of shape, weak, and unmotivated. I didn’t know where to start. Jane listened to my goals and current limitations and made a personalized excercise and strength training program to fit my needs. Even when I was a part of a group, Jane made sure I was doing excercise a appropriate for my ability level. She motivates and encourages through each workout, but will let you know when you need to step it up. A year later, I feel stronger than I have felt in a long time, I feel more comfortable with my body, and I am more motivated to make healthy choices in other areas of my life. I LOVE JANE!!! I gained 75 pounds with my first baby and 50 with my 2nd in a short 2.5 years. I was devastated. I couldn’t seem to find anything that really worked and I felt awful all the time. I decided I needed an expert to help me reach my goal of feeling and looking fit and healthy again and Jane was recommended by several of my friends in the neighborhood. I was nervous at first because I hadn’t done much strength training but Jane helped me ease into it safely and confidently. At first I was so out of shape and honestly dreaded going to work out but now I hate missing a workout with Jane! I am the type of person who pays for the gym membership but never shows up. My “routine” has since changed now that I found Jane earlier this year. She keeps me accountable so I get what I am looking for - a true workout with her guiding me every step of the way. I am stronger and healthier because I’m finally training for my specific needs.

I’ve been working out with Jane for almost two years - a brief history on me. I am a former collegiate athlete who like most people let life get in the way of their continued health and wasn’t concerned because working out and being in shape was always so easy…however, we get old fast, and before I knew it I was over weight and out of shape. I starting going to the gym myself - but I wasn’t doing enough/pushing myself as much as I could. I found Jane and I couldn’t be happier. Jane knows my limits and knows when I’m slacking and when to push me. Currently I am squatting over 250 for my supersets - which is more then I have ever done - even when I was in college. I’m not even sure what my max would be, but I don’t care - with Jane she tweaks your little muscles and builds you a solid foundation. She modify’s every workout for her participants, so you could start a group with experienced and non-experienced people and everyone will get a great session in.
It’s been my best investment in myself - and I will continue to go to her. Stop wasting time and get in her gym.
I found Jane about three years ago when I was trying to get back into shape after gaining weight. I had been a runner and was trying to get back into running by signing up for a half marathon. Jane helped me get to the starting line well prepared and I dropped my personal best time by 40 minutes. She has helped me avoid injury while maintaining motivation. Jane has an amazing knowledge base and knows how to keep me motivated and positive. I have been healthier, stronger, and happier since working with her. I feel lucky to have found her.

I can honstly tell you that after training with Jane for the past two years, I am stronger and I can get up off the floor again, no problem.
